Breed Standard

Notice:   The Gypsy Vanner Horse Society has a specific goal of maintaining the breed as it was envisioned in 1996 when the Society was formed, and it is the same now.  There is some confusion that the breed standard has changed.  The breed standard has not changed.  The breed standard is the same as it was then, it has been written in more detail for use by judges in the show ring, and breeders, to have a more detailed and relevant explanation of the breed.
