GVHS Affiliate Award Program
The Gypsy Vanner Horse Society will recognize Gypsy Vanner horses competing in approved affiliate organizations such as
USDF, Equine Trail Sports, USA working Equitation based on their year-end placings within those affiliations. GVHS will recognize Year End award winners 1st through 10th place. These will be given out at the Annual Meeting and recognized in the Vanner Magazine.
To be eligible for GVHS affiliate recognition:
- The horse must be registered with GVHS.
- The owner of record must be a current GVHS member.
- The owner must also be a current member of the applicable affiliate organization under which the award is earned.
- The exhibitor is not required to be a GVHS member, this is applicable for both Open and Amateur.
- Awards will be based on the horse’s official year-end placement or ranking within the affiliate organization.
