REGISTRATION RULES EFFECTIVE 3/21/2011

A horse that is the offspring of two registered Gypsy Vanner Horses will automatically be eligible for registration.  If your horse does not have two GVHS registered parents, it must be approved for registration by the registration committee.

It is the responsiblity of the person registering a horse to read and understand the complete rules before you submit your application for registration.

To apply for registration fill out online, or mail in a Registration Application, the 4 required photos and pay the registration fee in the GVHS store, by paypal, or mail in a check.

Email the photos of your horse to info@gypsyvannerhorsesociety.org You must include one photo from each side, and one from front and one from the rear. Make sure the tail is braided or pulled aside so the hind legs can be seen. Be sure the entire horse is included in the photos from tips of ears to bottom of hooves. The horse must be standing with head up, no grazing or action photos.

The photos sent must be less then 1MB in size.

Once your horse is approved for registration you will be contacted and given a registration number, then you can print off a DNA form and send it in with DNA sample to the University of Kentucky. Follow the instructions on the printed form.
